Park lodges close for the season in November

Skyland and Lewis Mountain Cabins close November 8, 2026. Big Meadows Lodge closes November 29.

Skyland is one of three lodging areas inside the park, run by the park concessioner. It sits between Skyline Drive miles 41.7 and 42.5, a short walk from the Stony Man trail and a few minutes from the top of Whiteoak Canyon.
