Both rivers on the farm are stocked; the farm says there are native trout higher up and stocked fish lower down. The Rapidan and Hughes rivers are nearby.

Of the three stocked ponds, two are catch and release for bass and catfish and the trout pond is catch and pay. Resident guide Tim Lewis teaches beginners through advanced anglers; book through the farm by email or phone.

A Virginia fishing license is needed on the farm streams. You can buy one online or at the Market Deli and Tackle on the farm, which also sells flies, lures, rods and reels.
